**Executive Director, Brand Lead, Adempas, Hematology, and Established Brands**

This is a key leadership position that will serve as the Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach for Adempas, the Hematology brands and other established brands across US Pharmaceuticals. The Brand Lead will be accountable to set and deliver on priorities and goals for these products, own the P&L, and be the face of the brands across all Bayer functions. The Brand Lead will also be a key leader in the Product & Pipeline (P&P) Portfolio Squad team; the Product & Pipeline Leadership Team, and the US Pharmaceuticals Operating Team, co-creating key priorities across our entire US Pharma portfolio and building our P&P and US Pharmaceuticals Dynamics Shared Ownership (DSO) culture. The lead works closely with Global counterparts and must have strong collaboration with partner companies. The Executive Director will also serve as a member on the Global Joint Commercial Committee with Merck for Adempas.
**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The primary responsibilities of this role, Executive Director, Brand Lead, Adempas, Hematology, and Established Brands, are to:
+ As Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach, provide leadership in setting and executing priorities and developing our talent and culture for colleagues working on Adempas, Hematology and established brands across the US Pharma Portfolio Squad;
+ Develop effective marketing strategies, programs, and tactics through well-supported market, customer, and competitive insights;
+ Develop financial forecasts and ensure responsible use of resources to deliver on key priorities;
+ Prioritize business opportunities and prioritize high return marketing levers to deliver strong performance in the most efficient way;
+ Collaborate with our US Pharma Customer Squads to ensure strong execution and aligned Outcomes;
+ Build relationships with national and regional KOLs, collaborating appropriately with Medical;
+ Co-create aligned priorities and resourcing with leaders across the full US Pharma portfolio within the P&P Portfolio Squad;
+ Create a culture that embraces and maximizes the impact of DSO;
+ Set ambitious goals and take ownership accountability for the responsible brands;
+ Contribute to developing our Bayer talent across the P&P Community;
+ Broadly communicate portfolio/brand strategy; manage and lead others (agency partners, internal support functions, consultants) to execute strategies;
+ Collaborate with partner companies on successful commercialization of key products.
**WHO YOU ARE**
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree;
+ Experience in a Healthcare field required;
+ Extensive experience in US operations required;
+ Strong experience in leading teams toward strategic decisions including the development and implementation of brand plans;
+ Demonstrated ability to be a high level contributor or leader of multiple projects, processes or functions;
+ Should have a demonstrated ability to present complex issues to higher level management and contribute to high level presentations and discussions;
+ Willingness to travel (30% to 40%);
+ Demonstrated analytical and problem solving capabilities;
+ Outstanding leader and developer of people;
+ Operates with strategic clarity and choicefulness.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ MBA or advanced degree preferred;
+ 10+ years of industry experience.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $228,952 to $343,429. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
