We are a prestigious, year-round private country club committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our members. With a strong focus on personalized service, seasonal menus, and engaging events, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team.
Position Summary
The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, staff development, and member satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record of efficiency in smaller kitchen environments, strong financial acumen, and a passion for mentoring and team building.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Development Foster a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous learning within the culinary team. Develop and implement training programs to elevate kitchen staff skills and career progression. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Operational Excellence Manage all aspects of kitchen operations including inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and sanitation. Maintain food cost within the club’s target of 45% through efficient sourcing, portion control, and waste reduction. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Member Engagement Collaborate with club management to design innovative menus and culinary events that enhance member experience. Engage with members to gather feedback and tailor offerings to their preferences. Represent the culinary team at club functions and member events. Financial & Strategic Management Work within a $2.9 million operating budget, optimizing labor and food costs. Analyze financial reports and adjust operations to meet budgetary goals. Partner with the General Manager and F&B Director on strategic planning and club initiatives.Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in private clubs or boutique hospitality settings. Proven success managing a small, high-performing kitchen team. Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and kitchen efficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.What We Offer
