DoubleTree by Hilton Minsk Hotel is currently recruiting for an Executive Chef to join our F&B team.
\nThe Executive Chef is a crucial part of the kitchen management team, in charge of managing and controlling the kitchen of our all venues. This position will directly report to Hotel General Manager.
\nResponsibilities of the Executive Chef:
\n\nEffectively plan and develop menus for the Ember Restaurant, Ember VII Heaven Terrace. BarDOT XXI lounge restaurant, Beans and Leaves City café, In Room Dining and C&E considering factors such as product availability, food and service cost, marketing conditions and business volume; \nControl labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control while focusing on creative cost control and revenue generation solutions to maximize profit in the department, division and hotel.\nEnsure that sanitation standards as set forth by Hilton and local regulations are in compliance as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all outlets.\nSet up control systems which will assure quality and portion consistency and the ability to create proper purchasing specifications as well as monitor and review operating criteria and develop an awareness of the importance of food preparation and quality.\nCommunicate with employees and managers of other departments to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.\n\nWe are looking for candidates with 4 to 6 years demonstrated leadership in the Culinary field, and must be able to show:
\n\nStrong people leadership skills\nBusiness acumen, including labor control and food costing\nBackground in Mediterranean / Asian cuisine required\nPrevious experience as Executive Chef in International Hotel Chain or Restaurant Chain is required\nBackground in Russia, Belarus and CIS would be beneficial.\n\nJoin the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Minsk and you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including:

\nPrevious, relevant experience as an Executive Chef or a high-performing Sous Chef in a first class property, required \nExcellent leadership skills \nA creative approach to the production of high quality food \nA business focused approach to managing a hotel kitchen \nExcellent communication skills \nAbility to build relationships, internal and external, to the hotel and the Company \nExcellent planning and organizational skills \nAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines \nA current, valid, and relevant trade qualification (proof may be required) \n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
