Executive Assistant - Risk and Compliance

Regulatory Compliance ensures adherence to applicable regulations and standards by setting the policies which cover HSBC’s regulatory requirements, and mitigate conduct and reputational risk issues. The team strives to remain ahead of the regulatory change agenda and ensures the business understands the implications and is prepared for change. It monitors how the Global Businesses and Functions manage their responsibilities with regard to complying with the regulations and helps resolve compliance deficiencies.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Executive Assistant.

Principal Responsibilities

Work is organised and processed/ completed according to established procedures to ensure all deadlines are observedUse of Outlook/ Word / PowerPoint to produce and type documents to a high standard, using appropriate styles and punctuationProactive maintenance of calendar, looks ahead to resolve any meeting conflicts to free up time for the managers to work on key projects/initiativesMeetings are organised, and advised to all. Papers and agendas prepared/collated in advance of the meetingsCo-ordinates travel arrangements, using initiative in managing itinerary times, costs and processing complex visa applicationsTravel/accommodation is booked and confirmed accurately in accordance with policy, ensuring costs to the Bank are kept to a minimumExpenses are processed in a timely manner and in line with Group PolicySupports team with ad-hoc IT requirements (raising IT requests, liaising with IT support regarding any issues) as well as ordering stationeryAssists with on-boarding new starters to the team (ensuring that all equipment is ordered and ready to use and that the relevant IT and security accesses are in place) as well as off-boarding any leavers (cancelling any IT and security accesses as required etc)Assist with departmental planning and business continuity recordsTravel / accommodation is booked and confirmed accurately in accordance with policyBooks IT support when needed (VC/AV support, assists team with any IT queries)Assists with booking meeting rooms, registering any external guests and arranging catering where requiredWhen time permits, supports ad-hoc requests relating to initiatives/projects
