ChristianaCare is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Director and coordinate the overall endeavors of the Gene Editing Institute in a highly professional and efficient manner ensuring confidentiality of all matters. The Executive Assistant has a strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, identifies as a continuous learner, with inherent instincts to solving problems, and has a drive for excellence.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed.Excellent time management skills.Advanced knowledge of online tools and software such as Google Drive, Microsoft Office Tools, and Zoom.Ability to learn new tools quickly.Excellent interpersonal communication.Strong writing skills.Highly organized.A standout colleague who is proactive, flexible, results-oriented, and comfortable in a constantly evolving environment.Ability to work independently and under the pressure of deadlines.Principal duties and responsibilities:Provides administrative support by attending meetings, completes high level summaries, composes agenda, drafts and types correspondence, schedules meetings, maintains up to date filing systems, screens calls and messages.Schedules executives' calendar using e-mail calendar system (Microsoft Outlook) and provides all pertinent information needed for scheduled appointments.Coordinates Board of Directors quarterly meeting including management of Board Effect platform, meeting logistics, preparation of agenda and meeting minutes.Provides daily administrative support to the Executive Director and other senior leadersAnticipates Executive Director’s needs, and aids to ensure they are prepared for daily activities.Screens correspondence/mail, sorts and prioritizes, bringing items for immediate action to Executive's attention.Builds PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external audiences. Demonstrates keen understanding of diversity in audience and adjusts style/tone accordingly.Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business.Schedules meetings, including advising attendees, reserving rooms, arranging meals and refreshments, equipment, and other support materials.Manages and builds expenses reportsArranges travel reservations, orders ticket, makes and confirms lodging and airline reservationsHours: Day Shift
