Executive Assistant/Business Specialist - Sales

What is the role about? 

This role provides assistance and support to all sales and commercial departments across the enterprise from a business perspective. A Business Specialist maintains broad knowledge about a company's business processes and procedures in order to address their needs, identify business constraints, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction (both internally and externally) while achieving company objectives. This role’s value is imperative to the success of the Vice President of Sales.    

Which tasks will you perform? 

Support and thought partner with the various parts of the Sales team and the VP of Sales   Develop process improvements to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness  Manage group budgets, headcounts, targets, and goals   Analyze the functioning of processes and suggest effective solutions by researching, visualizing, articulating, solving problems, and implementing solutions  Develop new business programs and make enhancements to meet changing customer demands  Collaborate and contribute to the organization to promote cross-functional and process thinking 

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience  Travel required up to 30%, domestic and international 

You may have (preferred):  

Experience excelling in a fast-paced environment where there is high volume of tasks and priorities shifting continuously  Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and CRM (Salesforce), with the ability to develop and analyze data  Demonstrates moral courage by standing up for their beliefs, taking justifiable risks, addressing contradictions, and knowing when to say no  Ability to navigate ambiguity, develop and execute strategic plans and solutions, and drive business results  Exhibits a proactive and positive approach to embracing and promoting change, with an open and curious mindset towards new ideas and opportunities   Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit  Collaborates effectively with others, sometimes across departments, to achieve organizational goals and enhance customer experience    Builds and maintains strong, trustworthy business relationships, leveraging long-term partnerships to achieve collective success  Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation  Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
