Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. The Executive Assistant will provide support to the President of Versant Sports. Responsibilities: + Administrative duties for this role include coordinating/managing complex travel arrangements, expense reports, calendar management, meeting planning and coordination + Ability to implement administrative procedures + Interaction with external partners including sports leagues + Ability to handle confidential information with detail and due care + Ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands + Provide support on various projects + Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience + Minimum five (5) years administrative and/or general office experience + Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Desired Characteristics: + Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines + Ability to work well in a team environment and independently + Experience working in sports or sports media a plus + Interest in sports television + Excellent communication and follow-up skills needed + Must be a team player + Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must + Strong writing and organization skills + Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously + Able to prioritize demands and heavy volumes of internal demands + Comfortable dealing with heavy volume of communication – both internal and external Additional Requirements: + Willingness to travel and work overtime, and occasional weekends + Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT + Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Stamford, CT office a minimum of three days per week.
