What You'll Do
As an Executive Assistant at BCG Budapest, you are the silent orchestrator, the anticipator-in-chief, and the trusted right hand to our most senior leaders, Managing Directors and Partners, and Office Leads.
This role is a connector between our senior leadership and the rest of the business. Within this function you’ll be orchestrating the daily rhythm of success for our seniors. This goes far beyond classic admin work — you're anticipating needs, removing friction, and creating space for strategic thinking. You work independently and proactively, making high-level decisions and navigating complex demands with a mix of grace, grit, and good humor.
You don't just support schedules — you enable strategy, and you don’t just manage logistics — you power leadership.
You’re good at
Time & Task Orchestration: Managing busy calendars, reshuffling meetings without breaking a sweat, and coordinating international (and often last-minute) travel like a seasoned travel agent.Discretion & Diplomacy: You’re a natural gatekeeper with sound judgment, confidentiality, and the finesse to deal with all personality types — including high-energy consultants.Relationship Building: Creating strong ties with Partners, clients, and team members. You make collaboration seamless across all levels — from junior teams to the C-suite.Making Things Happen: You act as a thought partner to your executives. You understand the bigger picture and guide them in spending their time wisely.AI-Savvy & Tool-Ready: Already using GenAI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot? Perfect. Not yet? No problem — just be ready to dive in, because AI will be part of your daily toolbox. Bonus points if ShareCal is already in your skillset. If not, learning it isn’t optional — it’s part of the deal (don’t worry, we’ll guide you).Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing: Coaching fellow assistants, leading onboarding, contributing to training, and elevating the broader EA/MA community — locally and across the region. What You'll Bring
Experience: 5+ years of supporting senior executives, ideally in a high-paced, corporate or consulting environment. You've got battle scars and stories.Composure & Curiosity: You're calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and intellectually curious. You’re not just organized — you’re also interested in why things are done the way they are.Business Sense & Maturity: You understand what drives the business and can align your support with our strategic goals.Project & Time Management Superpowers: Juggling multiple priorities? No problem. You’ve got systems, color-coded calendars, and backup plans for your backup plans.Tech & Tools: Proficient in all the usual suspects: MS Office Suite, travel booking systems, CRM tools, and expense management platforms.Fluency in Hungarian and English is essential for this role, both spoken and written. Additional language skills—such as German, Polish, or Czech—are not required but considered a valuable asset.
Who You'll Work With
A brilliant team of EAs, MAs, Office Assistants and Office Managers across CEE — all of whom thrive in a high-energy, supportive environment. We’re serious about our impact but lighthearted about everything else. You’ll be based in Budapest and will report to the Assistant Services Manager.
