The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Vice President for Boeing Global Engagement (BGE) in Arlington, VA.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting C-suite executives or elected officials, possesses a high degree of professionalism and discretion, and is unflappable in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. The selected candidate will be a team player, proactive and have the capability to adjust priorities effectively. They will also be capable to quickly familiarize themselves at a high level with new issue areas and have an interest in expanding the role to better understand and support Boeing’s charitable investment strategy.


Position Responsibilities:

Manages the Vice President’s schedule in close coordination with BGE’s Director of Business Operations

Prioritizes, manages and schedules time and availability for most efficient use of time

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal customers, external customers, co-workers and peers

Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information and while working under tight and often competing deadlines

Processes and screens incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information

Coordinates domestic and international business travel, monitors traveler logistics, generates expense reports, and reconciles corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement

Assists in planning, coordinating, and implementing logistics for visiting Boeing senior executives and board members

Creates, edits, and maintains electronic and written communication

Coordinates with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of resources

Orders and maintains office supplies

Promotes teamwork and value-added ideas to management and administrative staff

Works under minimal supervision

Works outside of normal business hours on occasion to support statement of work

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience developing and/or maintaining integrated schedules

5+ years of experience providing administrative support to multiple customers such as executives, managers, and staff members

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

3+ years of experience coordinating and processing domestic and/or international travel arrangements

Effective written and verbal communication across global audiences

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

5+ years of experience supporting C-Suite Executives or State/Federally Elected Representatives

5+ years of experience in partnering with executives to help develop and manage the operating rhythm/cadence for executive leadership teams

3+ years of experience with Concur or a similar travel and expense management program

Adept in functioning as a liaison between customers and senior executives as well as superior work prioritization and multi-tasking skills

Personable and professional phone demeanor; speak clearly, professionally and with decorum

Experience leading in a team environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $68,850 – $93,150
