D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for anExecutive Assistant for its Mid-Atlantic Region team. The right candidate will provide executive assistance to the Region Vice President.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, and department activities for all members of the senior management teamCreate and develop visual presentations for the Region Vice PresidentWork independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Act as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the Region Vice President, which may include planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, and organizing company-wide events Type and design general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.Attend upper-level manager meetings and take notes for documentation/distributionRun/distribute reports both electronically and as hard copiesAssist the Region Vice President in the management of his/her scheduleSort and distribute mail. Open mail and determine the level of priorityAnswer the phone and take messages or field/answer all routine and non-routine questionsMaintain heavy involvement in complaint resolutionPossess purchasing duties such as selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and establishing inventory levelsApprove ITRsOversee building maintenance including scheduling/contracting pest control, scheduling the annual fire safety inspection of fire extinguishers/signs, acting as a liaison to property management, etc.Order office supplies and maintain postageConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Bachelor's degree highly preferredMeeting planning experience preferredNotary Public a plus

Compensation

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000
