Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025. NBCUniversal is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the President and General Manager, WNBC and the President and General Manager, WNJU. + Provide professional phone coverage at all times; screen all calls and determine through independent judgment those which require immediate attention + Proactively manage and coordinate a busy calendar and schedule + Schedule all internal and external meetings   + Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion + Maintain and update contacts lists + Maintain up-to-date and accurate filing system + Assist with additional projects and other duties as required by President and General Manager.  Also, work with Department Heads on projects and initiatives as assigned + Process and track expense reimbursements + Coordinate travel arrangements + Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance + Coordinate Town Hall meetings + Responsible for the conference room bookings + Handle sensitive materials, ie: talent contracts Basic Qualifications: + 2+ years prior relevant experience, supporting Senior-Level Executives and their teams + Excellent problem-solver, consistently taking initiative and exhibiting strong resourcefulness + Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills + Proficient with MS Office – Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills are a must + Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: + College degree preferred + Friendly with professional and positive demeanor, phone etiquette + Proactive, flexible, self-starter with a boundary less approach to working within a team + Ability to maintain confidentiality + Must be proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc. + Must be able to build presentation decks + Ability to multi-task + Possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization + Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven media environment Onsite: This position has been designated as onsite, generally contributing from the New York, NY office five days per week with some flexibility.
