If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework.** Under limited supervision, this position will provide accurate, high level, confidential administrative/management support to the Deputy Commissioner of Agency Culture and Relations, Deputy Commissioner and Medicaid Director, Chief General Counsel, Commissioner’s Executive Assistant, and as needed support to other staff in those offices. This position provides assistance to the Commissioner’s Office and serves as a point of contact for both external constituents and internal employees on a variety of agency matters. **Minimum Qualifications** **Experience must demonstrate the following:** + At least three (3) years of experience supporting C-Suite executives (CEO, CFO, COO, or CIO) and multiple senior managers for a large organization (around 500+ employees). + Competency in the use of proper business English, spelling and grammar skills sufficient to prepare, review, edit and compose documents. + Excellent written and oral communication skills to provide clear, concise, courteous, prompt and effective customer service in-person, via email and phone, to internal and external stakeholders. + Strategic calendar management and coordinating meeting materials. + Strong managerial and organizational skills; ability to follow-up on tasks and projects with appropriate administrators and staff. + Experience with self-guided work , multi-tasking, organizing, prioritizing work and meeting demands of workload with interruptions. + Ability to track and meet multiple competing deadlines. + Advance proficiency in the use of technology and business software including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and video conferencing. + Technology skills to perform IT duties which include computer asset management. + Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information. + Ability to proactively identify problems and take corrective action. **Preferred Qualifications** + At least five (5) years of experience supporting C-Suite executives (CEO, CFO, COO, or CIO). + Experience as a lead worker, training and developing others. + Excellent human relation skills to maintain effective working relationships within a facility with multiple programs, over 850 employees, clients, legislators, the public and executive level offices. + Knowledge of state government and policies, particularly as it pertains to the Department and executive-level coordination of the Commissioner’s Office. + Knowledge of the Department’s organization structure, policies and procedures, mission and goals, legislative process, as well as laws and regulations governing departmental functions and personnel. + Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and marginalized communities. **Additional Requirements** To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
