Job Description

Ensuring the trade compliance operations of systems and processes for OESL Organisation, focus on Excise (Verbrauchsteuer), EU Deforestation Regulation and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism for OESL. Drive efficiency, compliance and smooth processes for all impacted stakeholder groups by contineous improvement of service and consultancy provided as well as for the supported tools and interfaces. Participating and supporting projects streamlining and standardizing the entire procure-to-pay process, leading to reduction of administrative work and effort. Automating  processes.

Operational activities:

▪ Participates in global operations for Excise (Verbrauchsteuer), EUDR / CBAM execution for OESL
▪ Responsible in 1st level support operations globally contributing to the achievement of Excise (Verbrauchsteuer), EUDR / CBAM compliance
▪ Assisting with testing for roll-outs, upgrades, monitoring and error correction
▪ Contributes to creating and maintaining specific information in different databases as required by the data quality policy and applying corrective measures
▪ Contributes to the realization of tasks using worldwide purchasing tools according to the incoming requests
▪ Coordinatinates supplier onboarding with responsible buyers, provides system wise support in case of questions during supplier onboarding

Applications Management:

▪ Contributes in analysis, changes, corrections and new creations of attributes and master data for Excise (Verbrauchsteuer), EUDR / CBAM execution
▪ Performs user administration tasks in the Osapiens Hub, or related Excise (Verbrauchsteuer), EUDR / CBAM execution tools
▪ Contributes to testing of new software patches/updates upon request in order to ensure transitions and supports the roll-out according to company rules, policies and local legal requirements
▪ Assists the maintenance, monitoring and fluent data transfers to external connected systems
▪ Reports and takes immediate countermeasures in case of any identified outages if the fix not available yet
▪ Contributes to continuously monitor compliance and data quality on systems and ensures corrections and cleanup

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Adminstration, Law or similar fields

Relevant professional experience in Trade Compliance or Purchasing or SCM

Up to 3 years of relevant experience (IT technical support, Business Customer Support, Logistics, Purchasing and purchasing processes)

Good understanding of cultural aspects and sensitivity in communication.
