As our Excavator Operator, you’ll be a key player in shaping the groundwork with efficiency, skill, and attention to detail.

Operating hydraulic excavators ranging from mid to heavy size (e.g., 120–470 series) Digging trenches, footings, pits, and foundations to precise dimensions Loading/unloading materials into trucks and designated areas Safely maneuvering equipment around utilities and tight job sites Conducting routine pre-operation equipment inspections and minor maintenance Collaborating with site supervisors and ground crews for accurate grading and excavation Complying strictly with OSHA and company safety standards

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

3+ years of verifiable experience operating heavy excavators in construction or industrial settings Understanding of site plans, elevations, and laser/GPS grade control equipment is a plus Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must comply with company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy Able to carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials. It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs. Check with your project supervisor or project safety director Must be able to work outdoors and withstand different weather elements Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift, carry, bend, crawl, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and crouch
