The Excavator Operator is responsible for ensuring specialist plant and equipment which they are assigned to operate is presented, serviced, maintained and operated in a professional, safe and efficient manner, that complies with all relevant legislation, regulation and policy and achieves agreed productivity and quality targets.

Requirements for the role:

Full Class 2 License with WTR endorsements.At least 3 years of relevant experience OR an NZQF Level 4 Qualification (Skilled work experience can replace a formal qualification)Physically fitDemonstrated interest/experience in work that crew is involved inKeen and willing to learnAble to problem solveTeam player; works easily with othersMotivated to do a good job; reliable with a good work ethicAble to communicate with others; effective listening skillsKeen to contribute to the team goals; self-starter and goal orientated
