Job Description:

The EWS Technician Senior will be responsible for operations and maintenance of Electronic Warfare and radar systems. The EWS Technician Senior will perform OJT on location and train junior staff as required.

Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and ProceduresComply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and RegulationsOperate and maintain the Electronic Warfare Operational Support (EWOS)Advise customer on current and future electronic warfare capabilitiesTrain customer personnel and provides OJT on EWS Work as part of a team, specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled, within a customer environmentUndertake individually or as part of a team, EW / radar maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer proceduresCheck every time before to start any maintenance activity tools/GSE´s for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct usePerform electrical assembly and integration Perform first level Quality inspection and functional tests of EW / radar systemAnalyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instrument and flight control systemsConduct factory and onsite acceptance testsEnsure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basisPerform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of the AirbusConducts on-the-job training activityGuides junior technicians as neededOther duties as assigned
