About the role:
As an eVinci Safety Analysis intern you will support the eVinci Safety Analysis group within the eVinci Microreactor Program.
You will report to the eVinci Safety Analysis Manager and be located at our Etna location. This is a paid full-time hybrid position in the summer.
Key Responsibilities: Use software packages such as Python, Mathcad, Matlab, ANSYS or equivalent Perform modeling and analysis of advanced reactor designs and develop technical documentation and presentations related to these calculations and analyses Working with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements. Evaluate standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering required Minimum GPA of 3.0 US Citizen or Permanent Resident Complete Sophomore year of college Interest and skills related to thermal hydraulics and heat transfer No relocation assistance provided #LI-Hybrid, #LI-Nuclear, #LI-Engineering, #LI-Intern
