ON THE JOB, SECURITY OFFICER

Foot Patrol & Stand post up to 8 hours per shiftGreet customers/ employees.  Provide excellent customer service.  Follow post ordersObserve, survey, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.  Provide rapid response in critical situations.

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:  

Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service.  High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness  Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in confrontation.  Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength.  Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

High school diploma or GED equivalent  Active California Guard Card or willing to obtain oneMinimum 1 year experience in a customer service/ security position  Have a solid/stable work historyBackground screening required.  Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUS.
