You will also perform final/breakdown of function, by cleaning the premises, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location. About the role:
Set-up and Tear-down: Responsible for setting up event spaces, including arranging furniture, installing decorations, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are in place. After the event, they assist in tearing down and cleaning up the venue.Logistics Support: Assist with logistical tasks such as coordinating deliveries, organizing storage areas, and managing inventory of event supplies.Customer Service: Interact with guests, providing directions, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for attendees.General Support: Provide general support to event staff and vendors to ensure the event runs smoothly and efficiently. Tasks may include running errands, assisting with registration, cleaning rooms, preparing and serving beverages if needed.Transporting Items: Move furniture, equipment, and supplies to and from event locations, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time.Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure event spaces, hallways, and restrooms are clean and presentable throughout the event.Safety and Security: Monitor the event area for any safety hazards and report any issues to the appropriate personnel. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
