We are seeking a talented Events Manager to bring creative energy, leadership, and project management expertise to our community-focused initiatives. If you’re passionate about event planning, fundraising, and relationship-building, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Event Planning & Execution: Lead the development, coordination, and execution of hospital events, including annual golf tournaments, gala fundraisers, silent and live auctions, and more.
+ Fundraising: Develop and implement fundraising strategies that support the hospital’s mission. Partner with stakeholders to secure sponsorships and donations through creative outreach efforts.
+ Community Engagement: Build and foster relationships with community partners, corporate sponsors, and internal hospital teams to ensure successful event outcomes.
+ Project Management: Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for all events. Ensure all activities stay on track and within budget.
+ Vendor & Registration Coordination: Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service and oversee attendee registration logistics.
+ Post-Event Evaluation: Develop post-event surveys, analytics, and debriefs to measure success and identify potential areas for improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Event Planning, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
+ Proven experience in event planning and fundraising (nonprofit experience preferred).
+ Strong understanding of community engagement and relationship-building in a nonprofit context.
+ Experience with silent auctions, live auctions, and creating engaging donor experiences.
+ Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work efficiently.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with corporate sponsors, community stakeholders, and team members.
+ Budget management skills, with a proven ability to plan effectively and allocate resources wisely.
+ Proficiency with event management software and tools is a plus.
