This role will be based in our Chicago, IL office. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Events Coordinator, you will be a key contributor to the Berkley One brand strategy and development responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events including: agent events, client events, internal events, and community outreach programs. We'll trust you to have excellent organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Event Planning and Execution: work with the marketing and distribution teams to plan, schedule, and execute events from start to finish, ensuring all details are coordinated seamlesslyVendor Management: identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers, venues, and entertainment providersBudget Management: develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are executed within budget constraintsLogistics Coordination: oversee all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, accommodations, and on-site setupMarketing and Promotion: collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and print materialsAttendee Management: manage event registrations, RSVPs, and attendee communications to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participantsPost-Event Evaluation: conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvementInternal Meeting Support: provide support for All Hands Calls and other ad hoc meetings in accordance to President and other Executive expectationsParticipate in a variety of special marketing projects as requiredQualifications
What you need to have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience2 to 3 years of successful event coordination experience, specifically in a high growth, luxury product or service industryExperience contributing on a high performing content and brand development team in a high growth, fast paced environment, you can successfully facilitate group projects and eventsExceptional verbal and written communication skills, your communication style is flexible to the situation, you communicate clearly and with a purposeExcellent time management skills and strong attention to detailCalm under pressure, you have excellent organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks, you work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organizationAdvanced proficiency with event management software and on-line registration tools, Microsoft Office suite, Social Media management and data analytics for event performance evaluation You have a strong sense of accountability, fun and adventureAbility to travelWhat makes you stand out:

• Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
• Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
