The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Events Concierge to join the Sales & Marketing Team!
Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.
The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.
· Classification: Full-Time
· Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

What will I be doing?
As an Event Concierge, you would be responsible for working with Meeting and Event Managers prior to functions and work with Event Planners for day of events. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:
Prepare and analyze banquet event orders to gather function and guest information and ensure a proper timeline is in place.Respond to and fulfill all last minute event arrangements and requests.Follow up on and ensure proper execution of events.Work closely with Catering and Sales departments on a daily basisKeep open channels of communication with all departments within hotelMain point of contact the day of special eventsWhat are we looking for?
Minimum Years of Experience: one (1) year guest contact or customer experience.It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

The pay rate for this position is $24 per hour
