ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assists the Director of Sales in the implementation of sales plans and objectives and recommends programs and policies to achieve these plans and objectives.Identifies organizations within assigned territory or market segment that are actual or potential customers.Documents, thoroughly, information relating to contacts and needs of clients or prospective clients. Assures such files and database are properly organized and kept up to date.Solicits and sells the facility via telephone, letters, and personal contacts.Prepares and delivers written and oral sales presentations to individuals and/or groups as appropriate.Negotiates and prepares contracts.Advises tenants of building policies.Prepares, reviews, and confirms all final billing for submission to accounting.Secures required tenant insurance and provides diagrams for special room set-ups.Assists in the maintenance of the master calendar of bookings and events.Assists as Event Manager as required.Develops and maintains an accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive knowledge of the competition.Conducts site tours of the center and attractions as required. Entertains clients as appropriate.Attends local and out of town industry meetings and seminars as required.Travel as required for sales calls.Works in conjunction with the Food & Beverage department to generate catering revenues.QUALIFICATIONS:
