The Event Planning Manager is primarily responsible for servicing Sales bookings and ensuring the seamless execution of events. This role serves as the liaison between meeting planners and hotel departments, overseeing contracts, detailing event logistics, managing room blocks, and coordinating billing. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Director of Catering & Special Events.

**Responsibilities & Duties include:**
+ Maintain full knowledge of hotel operations, policies, and services.
+ Collaborate with sales, catering, and support staff as a cohesive team.
+ Conduct in-person and virtual site inspections; communicate hotel offerings and policies to clients.
+ Detail and distribute Event Orders (EOs); ensure timely execution of event logistics.
+ Manage group room blocks, including tracking reservations, rooming lists, pick-up reports, and cut-off dates.
+ Monitor events to ensure compliance with SOPs and client satisfaction.
+ Serve as on-site contact during critical event moments (greetings, breaks, etc.).
+ Lead daily event order and weekly group resume meetings.
+ Track all communications and documentation in Hyatt systems (Envision, etc.).
+ Support final invoice reconciliation with clients and the Finance Department.
+ Assist in achieving department revenue goals; manage lead logs, commissions, and reporting.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
**Qualifications:**
+ 1–3 years of hotel sales or event planning experience preferred
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Envision and Social Tables experience preferred
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
+ Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
+ Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
+ In-depth understanding of event logistics, catering, F&B, and pricing strategy
+ Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and client-focused
