Job DescriptionPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the strategy and direction-setting process of an event by generating ideas to improve the value that Informa Markets offers.Develop the Event experience, ensure a high-quality level of delivery in support of the Event’s strategy and customer needs.Explore and execute partnerships, support the Event Manager to liaise with associations, governments, etc.Develop deep industry knowledge through internal and external relationships.Develop and improve the clients & partners’ experience at the Event.Develop Event loyalty by learning about the demands of the targeted and wider markets and providing trends/issues to the Event Manager in developing the event strategy.Support to carry on exhibition activities and materials including organizing side events, roadshows, etc.Liaise with other departments such as Sales, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure the Event’s elements are well set up.Negotiate with suppliers for Event specific requirements.Support the on-site delivery and setup, and logistics.Support the Event Manager for Event financial planning.Work with internal stakeholders to ensure event reports are generated on time.Assist with administrative activities such as conducting the invitation letter to partners, preparing partnership MOU, handling meetings scheduling and minutes, preparing reports and presentations, raising PO.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration/ marketing/ event management or equivalence.Previous working experience in the event industry would be an advantage.English and Vietnamese fluency both written and spoken.Project management skills: The employee needs to be good at managing time and working to deadlines.Good team player with pro-activeness and self-motivation.Excellent in interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skillsExperienced in marketing is a plusBe able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.Proficient in the use of MS Office including intermediate/advanced PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Smartsheet
