Job Description

Battery Performance Optimization

Monitor and improve battery usage, charging strategies, and thermal management.Develop algorithms for SoC (State of Charge) and SoH (State of Health) estimation.

Energy Management Systems

Design systems that optimize energy flow between battery, motor, and auxiliary systems.Implement regenerative braking and eco-driving strategies.

Powertrain Efficiency

Analyze and enhance electric motor performance.Work on inverter and converter efficiency.

Simulation & Testing

Use tools like MATLAB/Simulink, GT-SUITE, or AVL Cruise for modeling and simulation.Conduct real-world testing to validate energy models.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (minimum):

Electrical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringAutomotive EngineeringComputer Science or Mechatronics (especially for autonomy)Master (advantage):Focus on EV systems, control systems, AI for autonomous vehicles, or energy systems

Key Skills

Battery Management Systems (BMS): Understanding of lithium-ion battery chemistry, thermal management, and SoC/SoH estimation.

Power Electronics: Inverters, converters, and motor controllers.

Energy Optimization: Regenerative braking, route planning for energy efficiency.

Simulation Tools: MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, GT-SUITE.
