Job Description

The EV Charging Station Data Analyst will assist with the collection, processing, and analyzing of electric vehicle (EV) charging station data from numerous network service providers to generate a clean, aggregated dataset that drives interactive dashboards visualizing key statistics. Ideal candidates will be graduates with a degree in engineering, data science, or a technical field.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Analyzing electric vehicle operational and charging session dataCreating data frameworks for automated data transferConducting quality control on received data setsCharacterizing data by removing proprietary informationAdding cleansed data sets into the database for post-processingRunning utilization and other reports based on various attributesCreating visually interesting tabular and graphical summariesDeploying and running code on cloud computing platforms

Required Qualifications (includes education, experience, competencies, etc.):

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, data science or a technical field from an accredited universityData analysis software and programming experience (e.g., MS Azure, Python, Geographical Information System [GIS], Microsoft Power BI, Tableau)Excellent communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, and written)Interest in energy efficiency and clean energy with specific emphasis on transportation technologies such as: alternative fuels, vehicle electrification, and connected and autonomous vehiclesExcellent organization and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skillsSuccessful when working on self-managed tasksAbility to work within a diverse teamComfortable multitasking on time-sensitive tasks without diminished quality of work
