European Product Manager – Driving Strategy Through Smart Purchasing

We’re looking for a proactive European Product Manager to join our Supplier and Product Management team in EMEA. This is a permanent position with an immediate start – ideal for someone who thrives on analyzing markets, negotiating with suppliers, and making sure we stay competitive.
The Role
As European Product Manager, you’ll play a strategic role in shaping our purchasing and product strategy. You’ll keep a close eye on the market, build strong supplier relationships, and negotiate prices that drive profitability and sustainable growth across EMEA.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Be accountable for delivering the financial results of your portfolio
Setting and executing the supplier, product and sales strategy of your portfolio
Monitor market trends and price developments to stay one step ahead
Negotiate supplier agreements to secure the best possible terms and conditions
Work closely with Sales and Supply Chain to align forecasts, stock levels, and purchasing needs
Ensure competitive and updated pricing strategies for our portfolio
Maintain accurate product and purchasing data in our systems
Provide insights and updates on market and product developments
Build and manage supplier relationships to deliver on your goals
Who We’re Looking For
Education in Economics, Marketing, Chemical Sciences (or similar field)
A few years of experience in a commercial role – chemical industry knowledge is a big plus
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Solid experience with SAP, Salesforce, and Excel
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Your Personality
You’re commercially minded, analytical, and confident in negotiations. You like to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you thrive in a role where your decisions directly impact business results. You’re structured, good at prioritizing, and enjoy building strong networks internally and externally.
Your Future Team
We’re an EMEA-wide organization, meaning your colleagues are based across the region. You’ll report directly to our Business Director Solvents in the UK.
