EU Supply Chain Capacity Planning Program Mgr
Description Amazon's EU Capacity Planning team focuses on managing storage capacity and driving new ways to optimize how we store inventory across our EU Customer Fulfillment network : Amazon Robotics FCs, Traditional S & NS FCs, Specialty sites & External Fulfillment solutions. We're seeking a results-driven Capacity Planner, with both analytical & innovative thinking, to join our team to manage one of our complex networks. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, program management, and operations, offering high ownership & ability to make an impact on its scope. Key job responsibilities * Develop and maintain capacity planning models & forecasts to accurately manage our fullness & optimize storage utilization across different network types * Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including network fullness levels, bin utilization rates, and forecast accuracy * Partner with S&OP teams to align capacity planning with demand forecasts and inventory strategies at Network, FC or sub_catgeory level * Define with Network Planning capacity solves for mid-term, anticipating constraints & steering solutions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FC Operations, Regional Space Management,ACES) on optimization projects focused on improving bin utilization and reducing operational costs * Support special networks planning including Hazmat, Beer/Wine/Spirits operations Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field * Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations planning * Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data analysis and interpretation * Strong oral and written communication skills (english) and ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences. * Advanced Excel knowledge is required. Preferred Qualifications * Creative and ideas-driven in finding new solutions/ designing innovative methods, systems and processes. * Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results * Advanced BI skills including SQL, Python, VBA * Experience with operations and delivery methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma * Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across EU Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
