We currently have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in supporting the Downer Defence Contract for the delivery of Estate Maintenance and Operations Services (EMOS) to the Department of Defence across the Southern New South Wales (SNSW) region. Reporting to EMOS Operations Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Lead the effective delivery of all maintenance and minor capital works in accordance with the contract scope. Through the management of a team comprising Works Managers, maintenance technicians, and specialist subcontractors, the EU Service Delivery Manager ensures services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.Accountable for the planning, coordination, and execution of Performance-Based, Scheduled, and Responsive Maintenance activities across Shoalhaven base service area sites. Facilitate the effective deployment of shared trade resources across multiple locations to meet planned maintenance requirements.Operating in a complex and sensitive Defence environment, the EU Service Delivery Manager must demonstrate strong leadership, organisational capability, and adaptability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in either Business Management or Administration or other relevant qualification or experience.Technical expertise or trade qualifications in either building, electrical or mechanical disciplines desirable. Experience in Facility Management, Maintenance Engineering/Planning, Environmental & Heritage management, and Project Management.A high level of computer literacy including experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications and ability to use company specific databases and online systems.Business management experience including finance, admin, and Quality Assurance.Hold or capable of obtaining a Defence security clearance.
