WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?:

\n\nOptomise the Flow of Transport Operations — Monitor daily transport requirements with precision, ensuring every load for the client is collected and delivered on time. You'll be the first line of defense against disruptions, swiftly identifying issues and efficiently finding solutions to keep operations running smoothly.\nBe a cost champion! — Where appropriate, challenge carriers on excessive charges, working collaboratively with stakeholders across various departments to investigate, escalate, and deliver solutions that add real value to both DHL and our customer.\nOwn the communication hubs — Take responsibility for key mailboxes, ensuring every enquiry, request, and notification is acknowledged, accurately recorded in the appropriate tracking sheets, and archived correctly. Organisation and attention to detail will be critical to your success.\nTake command of Tactical volume management — Oversee Tactical volumes, secure essential transport bookings, and work closely with DHL stakeholders to ensure best practices are met and continuously enhanced.\nLead relationships across Europe — Manage, coordinate, and nurture strong partnerships with around 50 carriers and up to 1000 vendors across the Europe. You will act as the central link that ensures all parties are aligned, informed, and delivering to the highest standards.\nDrive excellence every day — Through collaboration, communication, and an unwavering focus on continuous improvement, you will help raise service standards and deliver exceptional value to our customer.\nYou'll be working on a major €200 million contract, alongside a network of over 1,000 suppliers, 50+ subcontractors, and a passionate team of enthusiastic operators and coordinators who are dedicated to achieving excellence every single day.\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

To thrive in this role, we are looking for a candidate who embodies passion, initiative, and expertise. Ideally, you will bring:

\n\nOperational experience — preferably gained within a Supply Chain, Logistics, or fast-paced Retail environment, with a strong understanding of end-to-end operations.\nStakeholder engagement expertise — strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will liaise with multiple teams, departments, and external partners.\nA problem-solving mindset — someone who thrives under pressure, is solutions-focused, and takes ownership of issues until they are fully resolved.\nExceptional organisational skills — the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple stakeholders, and maintain clear, accurate records will set you apart.\nDesirable - Geographical knowledge of Europe\nDesirable - Multilingual\n\n
