EU Corporate EHS Specialist – Drive Safety Across the Nordics at Solenis

Location: Remote within Sweden or Denmark (close to a major airport) | Regular travel across Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland

Now, we’re looking for a motivated EU Corporate EHS Specialist to support our commercial teams and sites across the Nordics.

Lead EHS Performance Across the Nordics

In this role, you’ll partner closely with our sales teams, technicians, and sites to embed a strong EHS culture, ensure compliance with Swedish and EU regulations, and enable safe customer site activities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll bring your expertise in chemical safety, regulatory requirements, and industrial practices to the front line of our operations.

This is a key role for an EHS professional who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment, is confident in engaging diverse stakeholders, and is ready to influence safety culture across multiple countries.

What You’ll Do

Drive Operational Safety & Compliance

Provide EHS support to commercial employees and selected plants across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and FinlandImplement corporate EHS objectives, programs, and monitor effectivenessLead incident/accident reporting and investigations

Enable Field & Customer Site Safety

Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)Support commercial teams with Job Safety Observations and safe customer site practicesBuild and deliver impactful safety trainings and coaching sessions

Ensure Regulatory Alignment

Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with both national and EU EHS regulatory frameworksGuide employees in chemical hazard handling, SDS interpretation, and risk analysis

About You

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Safety EngineeringNEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent national certification (mandatory)3–5 years’ EHS experience in an industrial or chemical manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of chemical regulations, industrial hygiene, and safety programs (LOTO, confined space, ergonomics, defensive driving, etc.)Fluent English and local language (Swedish or Danish); German is a plusStrong interpersonal skills: calm, logical, analytical, adaptable, and resilient under pressureWillingness to travel 30–50% within the Nordics
