The Opportunity
As an ETX Governance Consultant, you will be instrumental in implementing MassMutual's integrated technology governance framework. You will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the company to design, develop, and execute an effective technology governance process. Your role will involve engaging with business owners, technologists, and senior management to collaborate on and implement solutions that manage risks and drive operational efficiency.
The Team
The ETX Governance & Risk Team is comprised of governance and risk professionals responsible for implementing governance processes and risk management practices for the ETX (Information Technology) organization. We are a first line governance & risk function, working closely with our business and technology partners and we succeed together by designing practical and effective technology governance and risk management solutions to reduce risks and increase operational efficiency.
The Impact:
Help develop and implement an end-to-end integrated technology governance framework to support technology lifecycle management, in partnership with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders from across MassMutual.Collaborate with stakeholders across the technology organization, including but not limited to enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data privacy, data governance, AI governance, and resilience to enhance technology onboarding processes.Develop a formal plan for delivery of an integrated governance framework for technology, data, security and resiliency, across all of MassMutual, with milestones, dependencies, risks and constraints.Drive adoption of the integrated technology governance framework through communication and training across the organization, including technologists and business partners.Provide status reporting to senior leadership, including adoption metrics and improvement opportunities.Define, implement, and deliver key metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of the governance processes implemented.The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree2+ years of previous experience implementing technology governance processes.2+ years of working knowledge of technology governance frameworks.8+ years of experience in governance, risk, compliance, technology and/or cybersecurity.The Ideal Qualifications
Understanding of technology lifecycle management.Understanding of cyber, data, resiliency, technology risks and controls.Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities with urgency.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management.Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical SMEs and business owners.Previous experience developing metrics and Key Performance Indicators to assess effectiveness of a governance program.Ability to influence and drive adoption of processes across an entire organization.#LI-SC1
