What will you be doing?

As an ETL Developer, you’ll play a key role in managing and optimising our ETL processes. You’ll work with large-scale data in a batch processing environment, designing robust data pipelines and warehouse architectures that power insights across the business.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Designing, implementing, and optimising high-performance ETL systems Working with diverse data sources including SQL databases and flat files Managing structured data and metadata efficiently Utilising tools for querying, reporting, data mining, and OLAP Overseeing data cleansing and enrichment processes Designing and build scalable data pipelines Conducting ETL testing and validate data flows Developing detailed, fit-for-purpose data models Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on ETL development experience Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting in Linux/Unix environments Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL, MonetDB, T-SQL) Experience with Hive/PySpark Familiarity with SCM/CI tools like SVN, Git, and Jenkins Solid understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts Excellent communication and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and a collaborative mindset Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
