The Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Manager will play a key role in supporting business units and functional teams to embed a culture of integrity and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role is responsible for implementing and sustaining effective compliance programs, providing risk-based guidance, and promoting ethical decision-making across the organization. The E&C Manager will partner closely with stakeholders to drive high performance with high integrity and will report to the Associate Director, Ethics & Compliance, Taiwan.
Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant local and international laws, regulations, and standards. This includes staying updated on changes in regulations and implementing necessary adjustments.Ethics & Compliance Program Management: Design, implement, and oversee the company’s ethics and compliance framework. This includes developing and maintaining clear policies, procedures, and job aids; driving continuous process improvements; and delivering targeted training programs that foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance.Risk Management: Support the annual affiliate risk assessment and mitigation workshops by facilitating sessions, gathering business input, identifying and prioritizing key risks, and tracking mitigation actions to closure. Leverage Ethics & Compliance data analytics and digital tools to generate insights that enable timely, data-driven risk management and decision-making.Monitoring and Auditing: Execute annual monitoring plans focused on key risk areas and support Corporate Audit activities to ensure continuous compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Regularly assess and update compliance programs to address emerging risks. Contribute to internal investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Training and Communication: Design and deliver engaging training programs and materials to educate employees on compliance requirements and ethical standards. Communicate key compliance trends and findings to business stakeholders and actively support the promotion of a speak-up culture and ethical decision-making across the organization.Business Partnership & Advisory: Serve as a trusted compliance consultant and business enabler to business units and cross-functional teams. Provide guidance and potential solution on business initiatives and third-party engagements to ensure alignment with compliance requirements.Other responsibilities assign by line managerQualifications and requirements:
Basic RequirementsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry.Professional-level proficiency in the local language (spoken, written, and read) to effectively engage with industry associations and regulatory bodies in Taiwan.Proficiency in English to collaborate across regional and global teams.Bachelor’s degree required.Additional Preferences Degree in Law, Business, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.Experience in process streamlining and automation.High learning agility and a strong team orientation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.Strong ethical standards and integrity; no compliance violations within the past 12 months.Strategic and conceptual thinking with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.Client-focused mindset with a constructive approach to issue resolution.
