Estimator/Project Manager
Description Reputable, South Jersey company seeks a Estimator/Project Manager who can prepare accurate cost estimates for projects while also managing and coordinating all phases of project execution. In this role, the Estimator/Project Manager will monitor and evaluate inventories, oversee the month end closing process, assist with budgeting and forecasting, prepare monthly journal entries, maintain internal controls, analyze cost variances, and manage the cost auditing process. This candidate will ensure department goals are met, cost is reduced and overall improvement of profitability. How you will make an impact · Collect and analyze operational cost data · Maintain cost accounting procedures · Analyze production cost · Set standard costs of goods · Administer cost accounting principles · Prepare production reports · Assist with month-end cost accounting close · Prepare estimates of costs · Coordinate with operations on forecasting · Resolve cost inaccuracies Requirements The ideal Estimator/Project Manager will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
