Job Description A leading industrial services provider is seeking an experienced Estimator III to lead the development of detailed cost estimates for complex ship repair and marine-related projects. This role oversees estimating teams, collaborates with internal stakeholders, and ensures timely, accurate, and competitive bids. Skills and Requirements Degree in marine engineering or related technical coursework (math, physics, engineering) Minimum 10 years of experience in the maritime industry Proven leadership in managing estimating teams and complex bid processes Strong understanding of technical specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, including formulas and functions Experience with cost/price analysis, bid strategy, and subcontractor evaluation Ability to manage multiple estimates under tight deadlines Excellent communication, technical writing, and customer-facing skills Plusses: Familiarity with FAR and DCAA requirements Experience in new-build production or shipyard operations Knowledge of risk analysis, contract interpretation, and production scheduling Ability to develop cost standards where historical data is unavailable null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
