What You’ll Do:Provide estimation services for assigned auction locations, focusing on cosmetic (body) repairs and mechanical repairs to support client needs.
Deliver accurate and timely estimates for reconditioning work, ensuring proper documentation for both cosmetic and mechanical services.
Collaborate with maintenance, reconditioning, vendor, and operations teams to initiate approved work and maintain smooth repair flow.
Work closely with vendors, parts suppliers, and procurement/purchasing staff to verify accurate pricing, availability, and sourcing of required parts and materials.
Track repair progress, monitor completion timelines, and communicate updates with clients, transportation teams, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of repair estimates, approvals, and completed work in compliance with company policies.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by adhering to all safety guidelines and modeling safe behaviors.
Actively participate in safety initiatives, team huddles, and process improvement activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma/GED.
Minimum of 3–5 years of over-the-counter parts store experience or closely related automotive repair/estimating experience.
Solid understanding of both mechanical repair and cosmetic (body) repair estimating processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced auction environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
