Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to support a Wood Framing Subcontractor. This role involves bidding on large commercial or multifamily projects ranging from a few hundred thousand to eight million dollars.
ResponsibilitiesReport to the Preconstruction team and President.Bid on multiple large commercial or multifamily projects.Identify blueprint discrepancies.Carefully plan logistics to meet project deadlines.Ensure the production of solid and safe structures.Essential SkillsPrior estimating experience with a framing subcontractor.Proficiency in BlueBeam estimating software.Experience with Material Take Off processes.Strong understanding of construction management and blueprint analysis.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have previously worked for a framing subcontractor.Experience in estimation specifically with subcontractors, not general contractors.Work Environment
This position offers the potential for a remote or hybrid schedule, depending on individual work ethic. You can be based locally in the DMV area or near the Charlotte, NC office. The company is licensed in multiple states, with 75% of the portfolio located in the southern states including GA, FL, NC, and SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $72.12/hr.
