Senior High Voltage Estimator

We are seeking experienced Estimators with utility-grade substation and/or transmission project experience to support a team based in Ohio. This role offers the opportunity for long-term employment and to work full-time from home.

Must have at minimum 4+ years of substation or transmission line estimating

ResponsibilitiesCreate and review thorough scope/design documentation for potential projects, including scope documents, KMZ files (Google Earth), Transmission Asset Mapping Interface files, and FileNet (engineering drawing database).Develop and review substation and transmission line estimates at a project level.Review supplemental support estimates, including Access Roads, Forestry, SCADA/IT Network, Testing and Commissioning, Real Estate, Project Management, Environmental, and Revenue Metering.Coordinate with team members, accounting, engineering, sponsors, regional contacts, and personnel from the supplemental support estimate staff.Interpret and review actuals in comparison to estimates.Assist in the feedback loop from project execution to enhance accuracy.Attend regional meetings with sponsors, protection, maintenance, and other stakeholders to review the status of all open estimates.Review, approve, or reject estimate requests in OPPM.Build project schedule timelines for substation, transmission line, and support estimates with correct logic.Essential Skills4+ years experience in estimation, particularly with substations and transmission lines.Proficiency in using estimating software.Experience with T-Line and/or Substation projects.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work remotely while being an integral part of the team.Strong communication skills to effectively consult and provide guidance on select projects.Capacity to extend best-in-class service as an extension of the client's team.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
