Key Responsibilities\nDevelop conceptual, budgetary, and GMP estimates.\nPrepare accurate quantity takeoffs and pricing for materials and equipment.\nParticipate in subcontractor outreach and conduct job walks.\nMeet proposal and bid deadlines.\nReview and evaluate subcontractor proposals.\nDefine and clarify scopes of work, schedules, and procurement needs.\nDevelop competitive lump sum bids.\nConduct constructability reviews and value engineering analysis.\nCollaborate with clients, subcontractors, and design teams throughout the preconstruction process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience, with at least 3 years in K-12 public school projects preferred.\nProven ability to estimate and bid projects up to $20 million.\nStrong conceptual estimating and project scheduling skills.\nProficient in reviewing architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.\nKnowledge of unit costs and subcontractor risk factors.\nExperience with estimating software, spreadsheets, and on-screen takeoff tools.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong understanding of construction contracts and cost drivers.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
