Job Description
Join a glass and glazing manufacturing company as a Junior Estimator! Collaborate directly with architects and owners to provide expertly designed glass panel walls for interior applications. Assist the team with take-offs and compiling estimates for various projects using proprietary software. Work closely with the sales team to gather all necessary details to compile accurate estimates and ensure smooth project delivery.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with take-offs and compiling estimates for various projects.Work with proprietary estimating software to create accurate project estimates.Collaborate with the sales team to gather necessary details for estimates.Coordinate with the project and delivery team to ensure smooth project execution.Essential Skills3+ years of experience working with estimating software.Experience working for a construction supplier/distributor or subcontractor.Experience preparing estimates using electronic estimating software.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the glass/glazing industry is ideal but not required.Experience in roofing or wall panel industries is a close second preference.Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced, yet relaxed and controlled manufacturing environment. The role is office-based in Columbia, with no opportunity for remote or flexible work arrangements. Collaborate closely within a small project estimating team of 3-4 people.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
