The Role:
As Estimator, you will play a key part in the pre-construction team, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider commercial team to secure and deliver competitively priced, accurately scoped tenders. 

Responsibilities include:
Reviewing tender opportunities with the commercial teamAttending site visits during tender stagePreparing and sending enquiries to the supply chainRaising RFIs and ensuring timely responsesAssessing tender documentation for accuracy and completenessEvaluating subcontractor and supplier quotationsPreparing comprehensive cost submissionsIdentifying and managing project risk at bid stageProviding clear and accurate handover documentation to delivery teamsMonitoring cost alignment during project mobilisationThe Ideal Candidate:
Previous estimating experience in a construction environment (main contracting)Familiarity with two-stage tendering processesStrong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesIT-literate with experience of estimating software and CRM systems, Excel and ConQuestAble to work both independently and collaborativelyFull driving licence essential; DBS clearance may be requiredIf you’re an experienced estimator looking for a longevity with a supportive, locally based contractor working on a wide range of projects typically spanning the multi-million-pound bracket, we want to hear from you.
