About the location:

Located on the southeastern coast of the pristine island of Lāna’i, lies the secluded retreat of Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i, an oceanfront destination offering travelers a curated, personalized island escape. The five-star, five-diamond Resort offers outdoor restaurants, including Nobu Lāna’i, a kid’s club, Tennis Garden, cultural programming, beach and pool with spacious seating areas nestled among tropical gardens, Hawanawana spa and luxury retail boutiques. Built on lava outcroppings, the award-winning Jack Nicklaus-signature golf course features ocean views on every hole. Island activities, many managed by Four Seasons include sunset sails and whale watch tours, horseback riding, sporting clays and archery, biking, hiking, and aerial adventures at Lanai Adventure Park or learn about Hawaiian wayfinding at the on-site observatory.

ESTHETICIAN 

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for an Esthetician who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required. 

 

HAWANAWANA SPA 

Hawanawana Spa, with a line-up of exclusive world-class spa brands including Eminence, Knesko, OSEA, Shankara and HydraFacial, offers a menu comprising a careful selection of treatments, combining tradition with innovation. Offering an holistic relaxation experience for guests – Four Seasons Resorts Lana’i also features two fitness and yoga facilities – both with fabulous ocean views. Guests looking to add fitness to their wellness regime can explore our comprehensive fitness and yoga programs that include Personal Training, Kettlebell Power, Full Body Conditioning, Core Conditioning, Tai Chi, and Anti-Gravity Yoga (Aerial Yoga).   

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Hawanawana Spa invites you to join our team as an Esthetician, where you will deliver exceptional facial treatments and skincare services that reflect the brand's luxury standards. You will play a vital role in creating a serene and rejuvenating experience for guests while promoting wellness and skincare knowledge. The role requires technical expertise, a guest-focused approach, and a commitment to maintaining a pristine spa environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Guest Experience & Skincare Services 

Provide professional and personalized facial treatments, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for all clients. 

Perform additional aesthetic services, including hair removal, as per spa standards and guest preferences. 

Advise guests on skincare routines and recommend suitable retail products to enhance their results. 

Anticipate guest needs, provide knowledgeable advice, and ensure satisfaction through thoughtful and attentive service. 

Operational Excellence 

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all spa areas, including treatment rooms and staff lounges. 

Set up, utilize, and clean all facial equipment, including steamers, high frequency devices, depilatory heaters, and sterilizers. 

Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary supplies and ensure proper inventory of products and linens. 

Utilize the appointment booking system to schedule and manage services efficiently. 

Team Collaboration & Compliance 

Work harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless spa operations. 

Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on spa protocols and industry trends. 

Adhere to all safety procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies or safety concerns 

 

WHAT TO BRING 

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States 

Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card   

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts  

Weekend and Holiday availability required.   

Hawaii State License as an Esthetician 

A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a certified esthetician in a luxury spa or wellness environment 

Strong understanding of high-quality spa service experiences and skincare techniques. 

Ability to operate and maintain all facial equipment to the highest standards.
