Job Description:
Digital Program Operations Specialist
As the Digital Program Operations Specialist supporting our Transportation and Electronics Business Group (TEBG), you will lead and manage multiple digital marketing programs and projects, ensuring they align with business priorities and quarterly planning efforts. You will support cross-functional teams and stakeholders by providing consultation, balancing demand versus capacity, and ensuring the quality and timely execution of priority programs. Your impact will be felt through fostering a culture of continuous improvement, where you will analyze data and service metrics to inform decision-making and optimize digital marketing efforts for maximum impact. Your expertise will be crucial in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the success of digital marketing efforts across the TEBG organization.
The Impact You Will Make in This Role:
+ Lead and manage multiple digital marketing programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and effective use of resources.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide consultation, balance demand versus capacity, ensure quality, and lead the on-time and in-full execution of priority programs.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing data and service metrics to inform decision-making and optimize digital marketing efforts for maximum impact.
+ Own annual and quarterly demand planning processes, engaging with marketing execution teams to set expectations and see programs through to completion
+ Consult on digital marketing basics (demand generation, marketing automation, content marketing, UX, analytics, insights, etc.) and the required IT ecosystem (websites, mobile apps, CMS systems, marketing automation, CRM, etc.) to communicate business opportunities and anticipate dependencies of priority programs.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in any combination of the following roles or functions: Digital Marketing (website construction, marketing automation, content marketing, eCommerce), Scrum Master, Project Management, Digital Operations.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with digital tools and platforms related to web experience, marketing automation, and/or product information and asset management.
+ Fluent in written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many priorities and projects at a given time.
+ Proficiency in project management software; experience with Workfront is a plus.
+ CSM, CSPO, or PMP certification is desirable.
+ Knowledge of Lean and Agile techniques and terminology.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
+ Experience balancing demand versus capacity and aligning projects with business priorities.
+ Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making strategy.
+ Experience working with globally distributed teams.
+ Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
+ Understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital content strategies.
+ Commitment to continuing professional development.
