ABOUT THE ROLE
The Escape Room Operator role is pivotal to the successful delivery of our experiences in Dallas. You will be the main point of contact for our guests throughout their experience, always ensuring world class delivery and exceptional customer service.
Based in Dallas, the Escape Room Operator will report directly to the General Manager, as well as the Fever team and production partners.
The Escape Room Operator will set the tone for guests - they will lead patrons through the experience, providing hints, interacting with them, and ensuring everyone has the best possible experience. They will maintain the experience rooms, setting them up, resetting them, and working with other operators and management to ensure smooth operations.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and interact with guests, answer questions about the escape room themes, rules, and safety procedures, and ensure everyone is having a positive experience Supervise and guide participants as they navigate the escape room, ensuring they understand the rules and are progressing through the challenges. Offer subtle hints and clues when necessary to help teams advance in the game, while maintaining the integrity of the experience. Set up rooms before each session, ensuring all props, puzzles, and technology are in working order. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of rooms and equipment. Reset props and consumables for each session and alert management when replacements or replenishments are needed Work with other operators and staff to ensure smooth operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
Outgoing nature and passion for interacting with others Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic personality Ability to memorize game rules and show flow and convey to guests Comfortable with dark rooms and in theatrical environments Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously to ensure work is completed in a timely and productive manner Comfortable with technology and basic troubleshooting Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to problem-solve and think quickly on your feet. Reliable transportation and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required). Must have knowledge in Google platform Ability to stand for extended periods of time Moderate level of physical ability is required Staff encouraged to have knowledge and a certain passion for the brand Strong commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility; with the ability and commitment to work with diverse groups in terms of gender expression, race, sexual orientation, religion, ability, age, class and immigrant status Live events and/or theme park experience is a plus!
