Escalation Engineer - Netherlands

Summary:

Escalation Engineer to provide an expert-level technical review of critical escalations, with a focus on identifying product gaps in order to drive product improvements. Escalation engineers need to have the deep level of technical expertise in Juniper products necessary to understand and address product level issues. This includes assistance with Critical escalations, New Product Introduction (NPI), Systest testing scenarios, White Papers and Problem Management. 

Responsibilities:

Consulting on critical escalations with the aim of identifying Product level issues.Assist Engineering teams with problem analysis and resolution.Producing knowledge in forms of TSB, Whitepapers, Troubleshooting Guides, and Technical TrainingDriving product supportability initiatives that will improve product stability, functionality, and robustnessProviding Technical training for new products as part of the NPI processIdentify Systest testing gaps and work with engineering to improve their test plans. Own issues and provide technical input into Global Hot accounts meetingsDriving Problem Management initiativesCollaborate with PLM, Engineering, Sales Engineers and JTAC teams

Job Requirements:

Specialist focus and deep understanding of Juniper [Routing | Switching | Security] Product enabling Engineering level support. JNCIE certification in relevant technologyCapable of using Python, Java, C, C++, and HTML languages to develop toolsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work completely independentlyExperience working with cross functional teamsProject management knowledge, in particular related to NPIAbility to handle critical situations and escalations

Preferred Qualifications:

JNCIE certified Engineer with extensive and deep [Routing | Switching | Security] product experience who has demonstrated his/her capabilities of successfully handling product/architectural level problems in the relevant technology.
