Role Overview:

As an SAP Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust SAP solutions that align with business transformation goals. You will serve as the technical lead across SAP projects and operations, ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, and performance of SAP systems including ECC (S/4 Transformation), MDG, GTS, GRC, Solution manager and their integrations with middleware and other Add-on/Boltons.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design:Develop and maintain the SAP technical architecture and own the operational landscapeLead the design of SAP technical roadmap and own its deliverablesEnsure alignment of SAP architecture with enterprise IT strategy and business goalsProject Leadership & Delivery:Manage Operational and Project related resourcesOversee full-cycle SAP implementations and upgradesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and cost-effective solutionsProvide technical oversight and guidance during project executionIntegration & Performance Optimization:Design and manage integration between SAP and non-SAP systemsOptimize system performance, conduct sizing, and manage infrastructure requirementsLead SAP migrations (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA) using Greenfield or Brownfield approaches Governance & Best Practices:Establish and enforce SAP technical standards and best practices.Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and change management protocols.Evaluate and implement SAP updates, patches, and new technologies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, (or related field) or equivalent experienceMinimum 10–15 years of experience in SAP architecture, consulting, or systems integration SAP BASIS and SAP HANA certificationsProven experience in SAP technical design, installation, and administration of complex High Availability systems across multiple OS and DB variantsProven experience in the implementation, test and operational readiness of critical Disaster Recovery scenariosStrong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.Strong experience with Hyperscaler hosting (Azure, AWS, GCP) and SAP deployments on SAP RISE

Preferred Skills:

Expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture and migration strategies.Proficiency in SAP FioriExperience with BTP integrations and servicesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiencesExperience in automotive industry is advantageous Experience in merges and divestitures advantageous
