Job Description

We are currently looking for a ERP Business Analyst who will focus on supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Retail ERP projects as global ERP system working directly with key business leads to support business users, collect business requirements, prepare functional specifications, prototype defined functionality and contribute to the future solution design. This role is based fully on-site in Mississauga, ON and reports to the Senior Manager, ERP.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

Project Delivery and Product Development (70%)

Document user requirements and current business processesAssist with data mapping and data cleansing activitiesInvolved in business requirement gathering and validating requirementsCoordinate with Management and ERP vendor’s team to define future business processesParticipate in the testing and acceptance of new ERP and related componentsContribute to solution designCoordinate development with the development teamsWrite test scripts and participate in test script executionParticipate in ERP rollouts as a member a functional stream retail

Application Maintenance and Support (20%)

Provide end user support for ERP users as part of the global Microsoft Dynamics ERP teamPerform day-to-day troubleshooting and support of in-house built solutions and procured systemsProactively monitor the system to identify and resolve issues before they are reportedIdentify continuous improvement opportunitiesTake ownership for all assigned Service Desk incidents and requestsParticipating in support taskforces as nominated by the ERP Senior ManagerCoordinate with other members of the support team both IKO group companies and 3rd PartyProvide regular status updates

End User Training (10%)

Provide End User Training in the designated functional stream finance functionalityCoordinate with the ERP vendor’s team to develop/update materials for training users; e.g. process documentation, procedures and work instructionsProvide instructor led training either virtually or classroom based

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business AnalystMust have minimum of 6 years of recent experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience with a focus on Retail modules functionalities, In North American Entities and end to end project management experienceStrong retail business acumen and functionality.Strong working knowledge of project deliverable methodologies such as Agile and on Cloud based applicationsStrong requirements gathering skills, ability to capture business processes using both existing process documentation and process walkthroughs with the staff performing the processAbility to translate business requirements to technical solutions while identifying gapsExperienced with global environments and deployments across multiple geographical regions, such as North America and Europe is an asset.University degree is requiredBA Certification (PMI-PBA or equivalent)

Excellent communication skills, including user base presentations (i.e. training, work instructions, reporting)Business process flows and modelingStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsHave an open/partnering mentality and comfortable challenging ideas with the goal to deliver the best solutionCurious and actively inquisitive about the outside world and learning about new ideas for improvement
