Job Summary

Pay Range:64K - 102K

The ERM Risk Analyst will report to the ERM Risk Identification Manager Sr assisting in the facilitation of a robust Risk ID process anchored to risk management practices. This position plays a key role in collecting, analyzing, and aggregating various types of risk data and information from multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization to generate a comprehensive material risk inventory which supports decision-making by business lines, senior management, and the Board.

 

Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the implementation and sustainability of a robust risk identification framework, which utilizes quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, including stress testing and scenario analysis, to evaluate the impact of identified risks across all the Company’s risks, including credit, liquidity, interest rate, price, strategic, compliance, and operational risks.Collaborate across First and Second line senior leaders supporting a holistic approach to risk identification, including review and challenge and reporting, and linkage of the material risks with capital planning, stress planning, and risk appetite.Enhance and execute against procedures and templates to maintain the material risk inventory and perform risk reporting of material risks including insights into the bank's risk profile and risk trends on a regular basis.Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization by promoting best practices in risk identification and management and providing training and guidance to employees on the risk identification program.Recommend enhancements as necessary, including assisting in initiatives to incorporate data analytics and tools to improve risk identification capabilities.

Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)  in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.Minimum experience required: 2+ Years of relevant experience in the banking industry, risk management, audit or compliance role

Preferred Qualifications:

Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent)Prior experience with GRC system (Archer) and familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau preferred.Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM) preferred.Large Bank experience.

Job Competencies:

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel)Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strongly skilled in analyzing large datasets to uncover risk trends leading to the generation of insightful MI reporting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams & influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrates a strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders by communicating clearly, engaging in proactive collaboration, and leveraging cross functional insights. Aligns relationship building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic results.Builds trusted client relationships, whether internal or external, by identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions to enhance the overall client experience.Physical demands (ADA): No unusual physical exertion is involved.
